Breakfast was good, comprehensive, for a continental breakfast. Tea and coffee always available is great! The comfortable living room is lovely, full of books. The staff was very accommodating, friendly, and all in all we felt well looked-after. I love the way the place is walking distance from Summit train station and town. Very comfortable location!

An attractive old building, beautifully restored and wonderfully fitted out as an hotel, in an excellent location for anyone wanting access to the main town of Summit. It is only a short walk to everything -- including the station. The breakfast included a varied set of appetizing options so that one did not have to have the same breakfast each day. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, I could not have been happier with my stay.

Great location and a classic Victorian B&B. Easy check-in and check-out process, great communication by text before the visit, and friendly staff who served a yummy breakfast that we enjoyed in the sunshine on the front porch.

Very quaint stay at the DeBary Inn. Check in was fast and the house is a lovely stay. Breakfast was good each morning. Staff were friendly and helpful when needing an extra bed. Our bathroom was private but was not in the room. Not an inconvenience but worth mentioning. Everything was clean.

It was such a cozy place. The location was excellent and the place was so nicely done up and super clen. The staff was so so helpful and nice! It felt like staying at a friends place!

Location and ambience. Easy in and out with door code. Clear instructions about process. Welcomed by a friendly team member. Nice to have well decorated inn in Summit rather than a big brand hotel.

First of all, I cannot call this a hotel, this is the home of your friends house. The hotel staff are your friends who are your hosts and help you with everything. I will definitely come back again and I will recommend it to everyone. Be sure to have a coffee on the front terrace

Wow what a gem! I love historic homes, and being able to go for walks through vibrant downtowns and neighborhoods. Big beautiful porch, sunny breakfast room, friendly manager. If I had work or an event to attend in NYC it would be really tempting to stay here and take advantage of proximity to the NJTransit station.

The location was perfect. We had a 50th birthday celebration to attend at the Huntley Tavern and this was literally right up the street. The Inn is also very close to the main shopping area in Summit which is super-covenient. The amenities were great and Caroline, who was working the desk when we arrived, was wonderful. Very sweet and super-helpful. The continental breakfast was very well done. Lots of great options!

The DeBary Inn is always a wonderful experience. The kind, gracious hospitality makes this beautiful property even more welcoming. Caroline offers wonderful local insight, including finding and stocking the best the local area has to offer. We look forward to our next stay.
